Question about 1996 Dodge Stratus
The computer MAY be the problem, also the tranny cable may be loose or sensors may be going bad, which is a VERY spendy fix. Like a 4 figure fix. The location though of the computer IF you wanted to tackle the project is attached to the firewall on the passenger side behind the glove box / dash board. It's a fix that is not easy, and can not be done by anyone other than someone that really knows what they are doing. Hope it helps.
