The window system is separate from the lock system so it will work. The reason drivers door is not unlocking the lock mechanism is stuck in lock mode.
If you're finding it difficult to service/repair your car, get one of those online manuals. You'll not have to wait for others to answer, or rely on mechanics and all.
Plus i know a website that sells very cheap but very very good manuals online, without expiry i.e. for lifetime.
try reliable-store com..
also try manualslife
these two are very good

Actually I found a solution. I remove the lock relay form the fuse panel and placed it back in place. I did not replace it. After doing this they worked. I probably need to replace the relay at some point, but for now that solved the problem. It was hard for me to believe that there is a separate relay for the lock and unlock circuit.

Either the wring going to that motor or the motor itself is bad.

If your alarm went off, it could be that someone had tried to break into your car. They most likely may have cut some of the wires inside your door with what ever device they may have been using. Look for evidence between the bottom of the windows and doors where the problem is. If not, then it is possible that your automatic window assemblies are malfunctioning. Do you hear the motors run on the windows when you go up or down with the switch? I also have a Pacifica, 2005, however no window problems yet.
Good Luck,
Ray

Sounds like bad wiring, or bad door lock actuators. Check for power while locking/unlocking the doors.
SOURCE: 2008 Tahoe-Remote won't lock or unlock the Drivers side lock
more than likely the lock solenoid in the driver side door is not working. it located near the latch inside the door.
