Battery less than 3 mos. old,car drove fine no problems, stopped for 30 min. came out would not start, all lights and electrical works, flashing red dot in instrument panel

Sounds as if security has been activated. Try locking and unlocking doors with key fob to reset. You can also try unlocking/locking doors with key using driver side lock

I have the same problem try this pull the swith out of the door panel. without disconecting on the bottom side of the connector i ran a long piece of wire from the neg batt terminal to the black wire the windows worked a broken or damaged ground seems to be common.the driver door i pull out the locking clip on the connector wich gave me better access to the black wire

My BMW 330i year 2001, 5 door i can't lock anymore the key remote won't work no more the manual door to open also doesn't work either and i ask the dealer if how much to buy a key and they said its $200...

Im sure you already fixed your problem but replacing the batt is very easy patiently use a razor blade and cut around the seam of the key eventually the key will open up do not pry then slowly remove the batt radioshack and a few online sites sell the correct batt i actually got the one size bigger batt it still fits and has a longer life pretty simple and cost about $5

How do you disconect child door locks on rear doors

Many vehicles have a little lever/switch on the frame of rear doors that make the locks 'child door locks' This lever can be switched to the other direction to make the locks operate as the front locks do.

This lever is typically located near the point on the edge of door where the latch attaches to the frame of the car when the door is closed. This area is usually near the rear of the door.

Power Door Locks slow to respond and one part broken...

Spray all mechanical parts of door latches with a good solvent...That should get them working if sticky. If that dosent work then solenoids inside doors need to be be sprayed inside small rubber boot on control rod end. L door panel needs to come off to re-connect control rod for rocker switch. (try first just removing lock trim panel and see if you can get to rod from there first.)

Power windows, door locks and mirrors are not working

ok this is a decently common problem. there is a black wire and an ornge wire in the wire bundle to the driver door.disconect the battery, then pinch the taps on the black shielding going in to the door and pull out the junction, pull the black shielding back and disconect the harness to the door, then pull the shielding all the way back and fix the one or two broken wires. good luck and i hope i helped enough if not id be glad to awnser more

95 blazer, front driver window motor broken need to get window up

When removing the door panel, you need to remove all of the screws first. Then pull the door panel off. There should be screws around the edges or the door panel, and 1-2 screw on the door handle(on the inside). Then pop the door panel off, if the blazer has electric windows and locks you have to disconect them first, if it doesnt have power locks and windows, you have to take the window crank off, there should be a screw in the center of that. Unscrew the door lock and pull up. If it doesnt have them locks then you have to disconect it from inside the door panel

The alarm form my car is ringing with no reason at is very anoiyng for everybody.would u know why? how can i fix this? i can/t even disconected coz i dont know where is it....i just disconect the...

Mine is the same, so I lock mine manually, using the rocker switch on the drivers door. Set all of the other switches to lock (use the power lock button) then open the drivers door to get out and before closing the door flick the rocker switch on the door to lock and shut the door. This makes sure the doors are locked but disables the alarm. You will notice that the red flashing light on the dash which lets you know that the alarm is engaged will not be flashing, the alarm is disengaged. Much easier than disconnecting the battery...
Read the manual to identify the power lock button from the manual door lock switch.
