O2 sensor problem...but, don't always believe it...could be something else throwing it out of range in either fuel or ignition system...Check everything carefully before wasting effort and $ on that sensor. Testing is very important. Any other problems or just a light and code?

Error code 21 is oxygen sensor or circuit.Check the oxygen sensor first and then the circuit. The sensor is on the exhaust manifold or on the exhaust downpipe. Its purpose is to measure air/fuel ratios and adjust the fuel that the injectors deliver.Above 80000 miles is the sched. to replace this sensor. Hope this helps

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

This is only a guess but I would say they used the wrong tranz fluid if this happened only after you had the fluid changed. Now if its not the fluid you have a deeper issue like the shift solenoid again this is only a guess. I would take it to a reputable Transmission shop this is nothing you want to try at home with a set of jack stands and a owners manual. This not to hurt feeling this was said to save money..

I have to error code with my jeep grand Cherokee Laredo 1999 the code are 1491,1495,753,136

P1491 Rad Fan Control Relay Circuit An open or shorted condition detected in the radiator fan control relay control circuit. This includes PWM solid state relays.P1495 Leak Detection Pump Solenoid Circuit An open or shorted condition detected in the Leak Detection Pump (LDP) solenoid circuit.P0753 (M) Trans 3-4 Shift Sol/Trans Relay Circuits An open or shorted condition detected in the overdrive solenoid control circuit or Trans Relay Circuit in JTEC RE transmissions. Was MIL code 45. P0753 (M) Trans 3-4 Shift Sol/Trans Relay Circuits An open or shorted condition detected in the transmission 2-4 shift solenoid circuit (4-speed auto. trans. only).P0136 (M) 1/2 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction Oxygen sensor heater element malfunction.

Aside from getting into an accident and having your wiring harness severely damaged, the other likely suspect is your PCM. These codes are not related to each other and indicate a much larger problem.

the next step is to have the service trouble codes run to see if any trans related codes pop up, here is how u do that, go to the link for instructions, let me know what u find if anything, but that is the 1st step in the further diag of this problem
