What I would recommend for better fuel efficency is some liquids sold in stores such as Canadian TIre that clean out the engine and emission systems

I have a 2005 V-6 mustang , here in the past month since it has gotten cold I have noticed on several occasions that my speedometer has been getting stuck at around 110 or 120 and staying. I unhooked the...

This is due to a problem with the gears in the gauges; there was a manufacturing defect that ford fixed in later years. The cheapest solution is to replace these gauges. I found a local mechanic that knew how to fix it, and did the job for $30 a gauge. I recommend checking craigslist for a local person, because this is a very common problem. I haven't heard of a correlation to cold weather, but perhaps it it because your gears are defected only slightly.

What is an egr valve and does it really effect gas milage? I get terrible gas milage. We have had it hooked up to a computer and it was the egr code. My electronic milage gauge above my rear view mirror...

An egr does nothing good for your car or mileage. However it does quite a bit for the environment. It takes some gases (I can't remember the exact name) from your exhaust and puts it back in the intake so it would be reburned. This doesn't help or really hurt the engine but it makes your exhaust less polluting.

My 2005 Sonata's horn just quit working, the only other thing thats not working right is the gas milage gage

Two separate problems (disassociated). Horn -- could be the fuse, wiring or the horn itself. Gas milage gauge is a micro-computer system. Take your vehicle to an authorized Hyundai dealership and pay the diagnostic fee... they will tell you exactly what the problem is and the cost of parts/labor to fix it... at least this way you'll know what the problem is and what's required to fix it.

Sounds like a stuck valve lifter. I'd use some oil additive for unsticking lifters.

Wide tires make less gas millage, get narrow wheels, let the car accomplish speed slowly from 0 to 30, look at air filter,if shortly replaced, oxygen censor, 15 miles is normal 16 miles per gallon is good for a V8

Gas milage seems to have dropped.

26 from 28 can be as simple as low air pressure in the tires and outside air temp changes.
