Vacum line to hvac where does it conect to engine

Hello Mr. Wilkins.
It hooks up to the throttle body and can be difficult to find.
Looking into the engine compartment from the front, look to the left of the air intake near the throttle body at the top center of the engine. You may need to take off the air cleaner assembly to allow better access.
Have a good flashlight handy as that may make it easier to locate.
I use some rubber vacuum line to reconnect the heat-broken plastic line.

Looking for a vacum line diagram so i can print it 1996 gmc jimmy

GMC S10/S15/Sonoma Pick-Ups 1982-1993 Repair Manual
VACUUM DIAGRAMS (See Figures 1 through 85)

Below is a listing of vacuum diagrams for most of the engine and emissions package combinations covered by this manual. Because vacuum circuits will vary based on various engine and vehicle options, always refer first to the vehicle emission control information label, if present. Should the label be missing, or should vehicle be equipped with a different engine from the car's original equipment, refer to the diagrams below for the same or similar configuration.
Check the link (free register), select the year ('91 sample), Brand, Model, Sub-Model, Engine Size and make the next root...

I really hope helps with this (remember rated this help). Good luck.

I need a vacume line diagram for a 1995 gmc safari. I have a trouble code 32 for EGR i replaced it and still have the problem. I used to get 20 mile to the gallon now it 10 miles.

you might have to put a different egr valve because sometimes the auto parts store will give you a different one same thing happen to me when i replaced mine and it didn't work I end up buying another one and it worked after I replace it make sure that when you take it out you spray carbutetor cleaner thru the coumbustion holes some times there is carbon build up in there and will make your egr valve malfuntion . good luck.

No air from vents or defrost but fan works

You more than likely have a vacume hose that has come off at the vent switch or under the hood. Unfortunatly you will have to pull the vet switch out of the dash to see if there are any vac. lines off. You can visibly inspect the rubber and plastic vacume lines under the hood. Just be careful how you handle the plastic lines as they become brittle from the heat under the hood after a period of time.

Front drive, 4 Wheel drive won't engage

that vacume line goes back to the transfer case, the end that goes behind the motor hooks to a steel tube so it does not get hot from the exhaust., my guess it should be hooked up so it will feed vacume to the vacume ball so it can lock in the axels. if you start the car and shift into 4 wheel drive and listen under hood you should hear a hissing sound, that is vacume, if you can't hear it there, you may have to craw under the right side to hear it, probably came unhooked underneith the car
