SOURCE: 200 Dodge Intrepid randomly stalls

Hey Brad!
So you're saying that there seems to be a relation between the headlights and the engine issue... Seems strange, but I've seen similar symptoms on a car where one of the clamps on the battery poles weren't secured tight enough (even though they did look/feel ok). Could also be that the ground wire (running from the negative pole on the battery) has a bad connection. Check and clean those first, it's both easy and cheap.
If it's not related to the battery you might have a faulty sensor somewhere. If so you should check your onboard diagnostic sensor for any codes.
Good luck mate!

SOURCE: 1990 chevy lumina apv - pickup coil -runs ok 15 mi & stalls

there's a roll pin that goes thru the drive gear.I'd change the ignition coil before the pick-up coil, if the pick up goes you'd be lucky if it would run above idle.if it has no power when it does run, try the ignition coil first.

does fast right foot save the stall???????? key question !
  1. lost 12vdc power to EFI.
  2. if random stalls its not lost compression
  3. bad spark (tuneup time?) lost spark , kills all gas engines.
  4. bad fueling. too much or too little.
  5. if all above is good, then the ISC is stuck closed. lean it.

I would replace the fuel filter, double check your work and make sure that all plug wires are securely connected and going to the right place (we all make mistakes sometimes) and check or replace the coil.

Random misfire/rough idle/stall

Low fuel pressure due to faulty fuel pump will give misfire codes due to fuel starving conditions. Have fuel pressure tested, preferably when running bad.
