SOURCE: Emergency brake light

Dear Customer,

Check this,

1
derive your car on 5 to 10mph than take it into nutral gear,
than let the car slow down Slowly automaticaly WITHOUT using brakes not even any brakes, when its stops you have to judge that is your car stops with some jurk or some strokes.

IF NOT THAN YOUR your car have finetunniing of brakes & if have some jurk than you have to adjust your car brake system

2
than check your tail lights indicating your brakes & simultaneously works with emergency also,

3
dont worry its not a major problem cause its happens sometimes when your car had run a long time without any service,

so test all thsiat your garage or you can at branded service center having certified mechanics,

THNX

SOURCE: 2005 Nissan pathfinder slow acel. Limp mode? HELP PLEASE

it does seem that that might be the problem. the only way that you can fix it is to go through the ecm and reset it. this requires a diagnostic scan tool not just a code reader. when the tcm was changed was the ecm cleared?. if not this would explain alot because the ecm still thinks there is a fault. please rate this thanks.

SOURCE: emergency brake light and battery light coming on while driving

Check your alternator, if you recently had it replaced - make sure that the one you got is correct, if your working on your own.. take a volt meter, set it to dc volts and measure across the battery while the car is running, generally you see around 14 volts, 12+ volts from the battery always and the alternator adds around 2 while running - the weird smell you smell if it smells like a dying rat, it would sound like you will need an alternator - as for your brakes, I'd start by checking the parking brake lever - back to your battery light, make sure all connectors are good on the alternator and also if your alternator does measure 14 volts, turn on all acessories - wipers headlights, radio, blower, rear defogger - this will generate what we call a load, if you then go to your battery you should see the battery voltage not drop below around 13.5 if it does, you probably need an alternator because it's failing to meet the demands of your car. though the lights come on together, it doesn't necessarily mean their in the same circuit - I had the exact same problem with a nissan altima of that year, that came into the shop... all its bulbs were burnt out and it kept having that happen, then other times it was just fine! give that a try, if that doesn't work send me an email at [email protected] I'd be glad to give you advice! SOURCE: limp home mode

You need to scan for engine trouble codes. Most parts stores will do this for free, and tell you what they mean and make recommendations on what to do. The 'limp mode' kicks in to prevent damage to the vehicle when the computer gets data that something is wrong.. When you shut it off, it's temporarily reset, but then the cars computer is signaling there is still a problem, and it goes back into limp mode. If you have any questions after getting the codes 'read' , post questions and code #;s here for help. Good luck.

SOURCE: 2005 Lincoln LS in Limp Mode. I can start the car

You have a very bad COP Ignition Coil, that is spiking the PCM (computer)
The spike comes back on the TPS Sensor, then the PCM doesn't see the
throttle signal your foot sent thru, the pedal actuator (gas pedal) ,so it puts the
car into ETC Failsafe, and you can only go 6 mph.

If you got no ETC Failsafe, on the bottom right side of the dash, tell me what you do have
I need all the codes,if you have a MIL Lamp on ( the one that looks like a wrench)

Nissan primera 2005 1.8 sx goes limp mode at night with lights and wipers on. No measurable battery or charger problems. Switch off lights and the problem goes away instantly.

The only thing these components have in common is the ground wires. There are many grounds on a vehicle. But the main three are the battery to body, battery to engine and engine to body. These are fairly large wires/cables. They should be checked with an ohm meter. I replace or repair any wires that have more than 5.0 ohms of resistance.

I have a 2004 nissan titan. I am having a hard time getting my brakes to work. I have replaced the brake lights brake light switch. But still nothing I have tail lights and my turn signals work. But no...

Eric,
Does the break light on the top of the cab work? If so the fuse and stop lamp relay are ok.
If not the 10 amp fuse in fuse box (JB) maybe open # 20 Stop Lamp passenger side panel . If it is good there is a stop lamp relay (E12) in fuse box under hood from the manual it is the second one in from the left by the battery. Also there is a(VDC) Control Unit (E125) can't find where in the manual it is located.
You would think that the power from the battery , fuse switch to lights not, that is why I got the complete manual for the truck. hard to under stand at times.

Service engine soon light came on, replaced gas cap it went off but a week later it came back on, when it try to fuel the truck it spill the gas back out like it is a full tank

One of the most common causes, is blockage in the venting system from fuel entering the vent lines and into the charcoal canister, the fuel gets absorbed by the charcoal canister causing it to swell and block vent lines. the gas tank contains both fuel and air. when you fill it up the gas displaces the air and the air has to go somewhere. but the air that is displaced is full of gas vapor so the gas vapor goes to the vent lines and into the charcoal canister, when the charcoal canister swells up it prevents the air from escaping the tank, canister could be clogged, canister filter may need replacement, electrical connection to the close valve may be open, canisterf might be damaged, purge valve from canister might be clogged, vent hoses might be clogged, the vent hose could be clogged, or the vent hose may have a kink. all this is caused by overfilling the gas tank, getting that last drop of gas in the neck of the fill tube.
good luck!

My wife said a explanation point came up and an alarm sounded. what is that?

Sounds like she may have heard the low tire pressure warning system. I have a 2005 Titan at my dealership and that is the only warning light that resembles an exclamation point. The chime would have sounded for 10 seconds also at the time the light came on. Check your tire pressures to make sure they are all good.
Hope this helps.

2005 nissan titan radiator problem

That service "Expert" who told you that should probably get his head checked or his *** kicked. The radiator has nothing to with the stereo system. Although and I dont think this would be the situation at all, its possible if you have an amp hooked up, its drawing too much off the alternator but that would be drawing current off the battery. It's not the stereo, I think it's second rate material that they are making everything out of these days. It goes bad so you have to take it back to be told your stereo is causing it. Hope it helps.

01 bmw 325xi intermittent problem -- dsc, brake, abs lights go on, alarm sounds, car goes into limp mode and won't accelerate over 10 mph. If left for 24 hours, all lights are off and car works like...

check your battery connections.  A loose terminal when cold can cause this.  Your computer is loosing the adaptives for fuel control.  Because your  car has no accelerator cable, they are two sensors one at the pedal and one at the motor that talk to each other without proper grounding and current they will not work causing limp mode.   When it is in limp mode the car should sound funny almost running poorly.  Sometimes the adaptives need reprogramming.  Good luck.  I need more info
