Front passenger tire is bent in at top from accident, is it safe to drive a few miles to a mechanic?

I was hit by another car directly on my passenger front tire. The top of the tire is now bent inwards. I haven't driven it since the accident other than moving it around my yard to get it out of the way, but I know it still turns and such, with some groaning sounds. Insurance totaled it, I bought it back (it's old and has high miles, but is repairable for sure.) The place I need to take it for an estimate is 2 miles away, and I'm not wanting to pay $70 to have it towed in case it costs more to repair than I have at the moment and I have to pay again to have it towed back. Would it be safe to drive that far? The original body shop listed a number of parts in the suspension that needed replacing - wheel hub, bearing, steering knuckle, strut assembly, control arm assembly, and ball joint. Not sure how many of those NEED to be repaired though as they did the estimate by looking at it only, not taking it apart or anything.

SOURCE: steering frozen, front passenger wheel fell off, repair cost?

no he only did what was necessary to try to get the vehicle to where you needed it to go, if the steering was already locked thats probably why it was locked. but no the tow truck driver did only as requested and did not cause the damage

SOURCE: 2000 Ford Focus LX steering knuckle/ball joint

theres 2 ways too fix that!! one is get some brass shiw stock it comes in a roll get about .005 thick! wrap several layers around the knuckle pin where is goes into the socket and then tigthen it up that will remove the play also you can heat the socket with a torch and then take a hammer and shrink the hole opening but if you call beards salvage in tulsa okla they can and will sell/ship you one

Testimonial: "Good idea about wrapping the pinch bolt. thanks for the confidence boost on using a BFH to beat it tight, I thought it would work."

Front passenger tire fell in while driving

Probably broke the upper ball joint.
If nothing else is damaged the cost of the ball joint is around $25 in most areas plus labor.

I ran off the road into a field to avoid hitting a deer. It was abrupt & bumpy. Now my front passenger tire is bent inward and steering wheel must be sideways for the truck to run straight. What are...

If the tire on the rim is still holding air and the rim isn't obviously bent it should be alright if you go nice and slow but would still be a better idea to put a spare on it if you got it. Slamming off the road though it's possible you just threw it out of alignment which would be great, but then again you could have bent part of your steering linkage.

Bent rods....Okay...first thing...did you hit anything or or run over anything? Second, did you go off-roading....

It could be a few things....some easy and some expensive...but need to know what you have done with the Jeep first.

The front right tire hit the crub to avoid and accident it bent the sway bar which i replaced but the tire is at a angle and is wearing out the outside of the tire. what else would the problem be?

Your control arm or tie rods may be bent. If you hit a curb hard enough to bend the sway bar other things are probably bent also. Best bet is to take it to a front end shop and have it checked don't just start replacing parts. The car will need to be realigned when parts are replaced.

Suspension

That's known as negative camber (positive camber would be if the top of the tire were leaning outward). This should be able to be fixed with an alignment as long as the suspension isn't damaged (ie, a bent control arm due to an accident or a hard hit on a curb, pothole, etc).
