I have a 1995 f150, 4.9 automatic. I have recently put in a new coil, a new ignition control module and a new distributor cap but I don't get ant spark from the coil. What could it be?

Check for power and ground at the coil. If you have it. Then I would have the ignition module checked, you could have bought a bad one. It happens.

Likely ignition module or distributor some had module right on distributor if this is the case replace whole distributor assembly... check and see if you have spark from coil to distributor also have seen the coil fail as well

1995 ford taurus not getting any spark from ignition coil

the capacitor only stores energy so when high demand is requested acts like reserve to take load off of circuit until the coil is triggered it will not fire with key in run position engine off check for battery voltage @ coil if voltage is present then it,s not being triggered this vehicle should have grey ignition module either mounted on side of distributor or strut tower/firewall area i would bet this is your problem

My fords engine runs for ten mins then shuts itself off almost like clockwork it has to cool before it will go again ,it has fuel pressure its like it turns itself off till it cools i tried...

Sounds like it could be the control module. Do you get spark when you try to start it back up, before it cools off? Some parts stores can test the control module.

Hi did you do a continuity check check if there's a wire shorted or open you'll need a volt meter check if the wires on the crank sensor going to the control module and also the one from the coil to the module there has to be a shorted or open wire check this and get back to me good luck

1995 ford taurus 3.0l v6 wagon no spark.

Listen TFI module is more than likely the problem change it. TFI module controls spark and timing and fuel. Keep one with you in the car. The module is getting hot and not working right.
