My car temp dosnt go up idk if the thermostats stuck shut or not??if how do i unstick it?

if the temp gage doesn`t go up you could have a gage problem or even a coolant sensor problem that works the gage only and not the one that sends a signal to the pcm to turn on the cooling fans and monitor the engine temperature,if it is the thermostat then it will be stuck open and the only way to correct the problem is to replace the thermostat other wise it can stick open again or closed causing the engine to overheat.

Brake lights work but tail lights won't work with front lights which are needed at night on 2000 Chevy Malibu! When inspected, everything was fine until inspector changed my left tail light. Now tail...

The Tail lights and Instrument lights are usually on the same circuit so both will go out if the fuse for the circuit blows. Check for a blown fuse for this circuit and replace if out. If fuse continues to fail, check the tail light or side globes for a faulty globe and replace if necessary. Also check for any chafed wires that could be shorting to the body causing the fuse to blow.

Gas gauge malfunction and engine light stays on

This is a common problem with Malibu's. It is due to cheap metal in the fuel gage that corrodes. Chevrolet knows about this but they refuse to issue a fix. The check engine light staying on and the faulty fuel gage are related. This is a defect and they need to recall this part! Raise hell with the dealership!
