For the 3.2l dohc v6 it is 1,2,3,4,5,6. with the cylinders being numbered from front to back and left to right 1,3,5,right and 2,4,6 left. The left and right side of the vehicle is determined from you setting in the drivers seat

Installed a rebuilt cylinder head set timming to all data and mitchells timming book wont start blowing back threw intake

Sounds like your timing is out 180 degrees. Recheck by making sure #1 piston is on the compression stroke, then retime.

The engine misses on 3 and 4 and compression leaking into radiat

If you do in fact have compression (air) blowing in to the cooling systems this would show either a blown head gasket, warped head or cracked head. Please od not run the Rodeo until repaired as if coolant is getting in to the cylinder or oil (Your oil will look like chocolate shake) it can do severe damage. What motor please 3.0 V6?
THanks,
Tom

What causes a water leak in the back of the engine in a 95 isuzu rodeo

could be a "core plug" on the hack of the cylinder head,,, witch would be a head off job,,,or a head gasket,, also a head off job,,,
try rad weld,, or stop leak,,, i find its quit good for this,,,,and is a lot cheeper than the repair shop price

Thanks for the fireing order you gave me.I tried it but istill can,t it to fire.can i get a timming mark diagram from you.The vehicle is Isuzu rodeo 3.2 DOHC 24valve 1998

I dont know how many times you tried turning it over with it being out of timing but to many times will kill the compression so be careful with it. Most of the time when I need timing marks I go to chiltondiy.com

92 isuzu rodeo overheating still

hey
u says that u didn't replace the thermostat yet
Your thermostat is sticking. DO NOT DRIVE if the car overheats, you can do some serious engine damage, if you haven't done so already. Get the thermostat changed out immediately.

What happened is your thermostat is sticking. It was stuck and you saw it overheat (and should have stopped immediately). The added pressure from having a stuck thermostat pushes the fluild into the overflow.

The temperature may have gone back to normal if the thermostat "finally" opened. However, since the thermostat is sticking, it is unreliable and I would get it replaced.

Driving when the engine overheats can easily cause gaskets, such as the head gasket to fail and heads to warp. If this has occurred, you're looking at a new engine.
