It will start in the morning for example, then I drive it to wal-mart. I come out of the store and try to leave it turns over but wont start. If I let it sit for 30 mins or so... it will start then immediately die. If I let it set an hour+ it will start no problem.
I have had the same problem before. It was my cull packs getting hot.I changed them and then it ran fine.
You have a cell going bad in the battery, remove the battery take it to Autozone for testing, or you have a bad plug wire or plug, when you start the car next time, remove one plug at a time and see if it stalls, if it does, replace the wires, and remove and check the plugs, clean and regap, or replace.
The people who need to answer these question are those who have succeeded in fixing a similar problem or those with more professional back ground in mechanics.
I have a 2001 Tracker with the 2.0L engine and it did the same thing...and after replacing the fuel pump, ECM and coils it still did the same thing. And it wasn't throwing any codes for the mechanics I had checking it. What it eventually was after replacing $500 worth of parts was a $75 cam sensor which you can change yourself.
The car problem is the rotor coil . look for the rotor coil brush and replace it . and the other one is that may be its over heating . that's the reason why its stopping. try to look for a mechanic who's good in car electrical wiring.

The battery is brand new, and I've had it tested just to be sure.
Also, its not overheating. It's not stopping while running, just wont start again after I stop it.
Engine started knocking terribly and then died. I think it threw a rod. No need for further diagnoses. Thanks.
