Question about 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 Truck
HI. that P0483 is a Cooling Fan Rationality Check Malfunction. This is normally a CPU issue, and it signals issues with the actual integrity of the CPU as well. The cruise control module receives a signal from the CPU that
control engine power and vehicle speed based on changes in road
conditions and the engine load.It also Provides correct air and fuel mixture
to engine for different driving conditions. The module(cruise) and CPU are suspect in my estimation. I recommend replacing the CC module and The CPU as well. this will fix this issue.
Due to the fact that the system has to be shutdown to be reset, leads me to this solution. it seems that both the Module and engine CPU are damaged. the additional components(servo/switch/power solenoid), all seems to be in good condition.
