Try taking it to a auto parts store and have them check for codes and then reset the ECU

SOURCE: Honda 2005 Pilot - the updated navigation dvd doesn't work

When your NAVI system comes up, press ok and then the 1, 2 and 4 buttons from the top. Do this in order and hold each button until all three buttons are held down. After 5 seconds this will take you into a diagnostic mode. I'm not sure which menu it is (I think it is the ECU diagnostic), but there is a menu where you can force a download to your old dvd.

SOURCE: Radio code

I think if you remove the radio fuse for a few seconds it will start the code required sequence over. This next part from Honda owner's manual for 2002: "When the radio shows "code" then enter the five digit code using the radio preset buttons. If you make a mistake, do not start over--complete the five digit sequence, then enter the correct code next try. You have ten tries to enter the correct code. If you are unsuccessful in ten attempts, you must then leave the system on for one hour before trying again."

SOURCE: 2005 honda pilot will not start

I had a similar issue, but I think it's because I left the tailgate door open slightly and the built-in light killed my battery. I jumped my battery, but I wasn't able to start my car again and this time the door was closed properly. I was told by Honda that the batteries only last for about 2-3 years. I have since replaced the battery and no more issues.

SOURCE: radio error Honda Pilot code

the code should be with your owners manualy its on a card the size of a business card.there will be # s on it, make sure you follow directions in manualy on how to enter code, also you might be able to call dealer, give them your cars vin # and they sometimes will give u a code.good luck.

My 2005 Honda pilot had battery disconnected then read code and now says error? I tried putting in radio code still error?

Sounds like you have the wrong code, maybe the radio was replaced? Hold preset buttons 1 and 6 then turn on the radio. It will display the radio serial #, 4 digits then 4 more. Dealer can get you the code. Or you can register at the owners site online and get the code yourself.

Iam trying to retrieve my Honda Pilot radio serial number, and each time l press on the numbers 1 & 6 simultaneously it says code error rather than just CoDE. What is wrong

You are going to have to remove the radio from the dashboard in order to read the SERIAL NUMBER from a label on the casing

The factory radio has been locked out

the dealer is the only one that can unlock a locked radio, they will need to remove the radio, get a "code" off of the sticker on the back of it, and then call the dealers unlock assistance number to get an unlock code. it cant be done with out the dealer. im sorry :(
