Question about 2000 Lincoln LS
I have a 2001 Lincoln LS. My rear passenger door lock is broken and the door will not open. How can I get it open so the lock can be repaired or replaced?
You can try feeding the switch direct but you will need to find out which wire carries the power to the switch, this can be accomplished using a test light or small meter. when you find which wire carries the power to the switch then you by-pass the switch and put the power to the other side of the switch manually instead of using the switch and the door lock will undue ut self. then you can change the door lock actuator.
