Check for clogged air filter, an obstruction or leak in the duct that joins the turbo unit outlet to the intake manifold. An intake manifold gasket leak, a leak or obstruction in the exhaust system or a waste-gate problem. The vacuum line is either blocked or there is vacuum leak .Also get the fuel pump and spark plugs checked.------ ---Also other possibility is compressor surge. The turbo is spooling up too fast and sending too much air into the engine for it to take. You can fix it with a larger A/R exhaust housing. You can also fix it with a surge-ported compressor housing. It is not your blow off valve. But the valve will often open when you get compressor surge since it sends very high boost spikes into the inter-cooler pipes.Compressor surge can damage the turbo bearings, Get it checked.---------- This will help.Keep updated.Thanks.Helpmech.

SOURCE: i have a focus 2litre zetec with a turbo

The wastegate may be mal-adjusted now after fitting the new turbo, it sounds like it is shunting boost pressure down the exhaust thru the wastegate valve which is vacuum operated.

did you check for fuel pressure at the fuel rail?
listen for the fuel pump when you turn the key on
did you change the wire harness when you changed the pump?

Car turns over fine just won't fire? where should i start? checked all plug wires and car does have gas, I am broke and without car, any help would be great.

check the ignition module fuse.if fuse is good.have car scanned to look for ignition control module fault codes or crankshaft sensor fault using or have somebody with diagnostic scanner to check for codes this way you wont spend extra money guessing.

Where is Fuel Relay for 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 Diesel Truck

it doesn't have a fuel pump relay it has a fuel pump control unit and it is located on the chassis back quarter drivers side near the tube cross member for chassis on top of chassis rail near bed mount. locate the rear springs front perch and it will be above that on top of rail.

hope this helps. good luck and please ask any question you have.

Starts wont stay running

without seeing it here is my best answere, do you have the ability to pull codes if the cam and crank sensors are functioning properly ( no codes for them) i would then check the fuel pump fuse and relay . do you have fuel getting to the fuel rail . if u have a guage to check pressure at the fuel rail it should be above 30lbs , if you have no pressure and your fuses and relays are good then you have a pump problem provided you have not been in an accident , i believe that vehicle has a safety shutoff that might be located in the trunk .

check the asd relay swap it with another like it. also check fuses and old car alarm if it had one.the cam and crank sensor will not affect fuel pressure. the cam sensor should not stop this car from starting. but the crank sensor will. good luck.
