Question about 2005 Chrysler Town & Country

Central locking not working for slidding doors

I've just bought a 2nd hand 2002 Chrysler Grand Voyager SE and have noticed that the slidding doors have to be locked manually, the central locking via the remote and via the switch on the front doors only locks and unlocks the front doors and the back cargo door, not the slidding doors... Can anyone please tell me whether this is a fault or whether the car does not come with this function.

Hi, Somehow the boot of the car has locked

All locking and unlocking is done through the switch on the drivers door lock. Put the key in the drivers door and lock and unlock several times. See if the boot opens then.
Or make sure you haven't hit the lockout button on the drivers door that stops anyone else from opening their doors. (Including the boot.)

I have a grand voyager limited diesel. The central locking has stopped working, both via the key fobs and inside the car. However, the key fob still opens the side doors as well as the boot. Same problem...
