Check the basic three. Petrol (gasoline) engines need fuel, air and spark. When you turn the key if it just winds it could be a spark plug issue. If it tries to fire but won't actually start it could be a fuel supply issue. If you get dash lights but nothing else it may be electrical power to the starter. And finally, if you get nothing at all it's probably the battery.

SOURCE: My 1997 Chrysler Concord sometimes will not

if you have a clicking sound when you try to start the car and the noise is coming from the front of the car then the starter has a bad spot in it or there is a dirty or bad connection at the starter.if the connection is good and clean(not dirty or corroded)then the starter has a bad spot in it and this is why it will start sometimes.

95 CHRYSLER CONCORD. ENGINE TURNS ON BUT WON'T STAY SARTED

So the car does start but stalls as soon as you let the key go? Do you own a scan tool or code reader? Its always a good idea to see if codes were stored. There may be a failed component related to the ignition system and the ECU. Open the hood and look for anything out of the ordinary. Corrosion on battery terminals, blown fuses, over heated/discolored relay, broken or shorted wires. Please write back and let me know what you know and are looking for or need to know.

Car will not start, does not seem to be the

Check the cable connections. Make sure they are clean and a tight metal to metal contact.
Check starter relay with an ohmmeter to make sure it's good.
A part store will test battery, starter, and altenator for free in or out of the vehicle.

Chrysler voyager wont start

hi, have exactly the same problem on a 2000 2.5 tdi, have rectified it by removing first fuse at top of box. This controls central locking, stereo & interior lights so now I just have to trace fault. when you reconnect battery I hear a relay clicking from both the left & right hand sides which seems to be on the bulkhead, these relays are not releasing and are discharging the battery after 3 days. If you can live without the above try it, your odometer light will go off too.
Will post soultion when I find it. [email protected]
