Question about 2004 Dodge Ram 2500
While driving at hway speeds, the truck slowly looses speed (power) and drops out of overdrive. I spend more time in 4th than in overdrive.
2004 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT. 63K miles.
How old is your exhaust system? Do you seem to lose power faster on an incline? Sounds like your exhaust is restricted and the main culprit usually is the catalytic converter. Try having your local repair shop do an emissions test. Hope that might help you.
