Could be one of two things...
The switch that turns on your fan could be failing. wiggle it to see if that helps, otherwise you will need to have it tested with a meter, or test light.
Or, there is a resistor deal near the motor (under the dash on the passenger side close to the floor) Look to see if it looks burnt, as this is a common problem.

I have a 2005 chevy Cavalier, and the heating unit dont blow air out at all

Check the fuse first for the blower motor, fuse box is located on drivers side end panel of dash when you open the drivers door. If the fuse is okay the problem maybe the heater motor located under the dash on the passengers side, you will have to test for power with a test light, if you are getting power to the connector the heater motor needs to be replaced.

No fire on 2000 chevy cavalier

to check timing position I suggest doing a compression check to see if there is compression 100 psi or better evenly across all cyl. if you do not then I suggest replacing timing chain and valves. if the timing did jump then it did bend valves. sometimes it will even crack the head. so I suggest a complete head check if that is the case. also do not reuse old head bolts. not a cheap issue to fix but if the car is in decent condition, its worth it.

Need help, I have a 2001 Chevy cavalier 2.2 L..It hs been over heating, can't find the leak. Put water in it and it is bone dry real fast.We took out the thermostat and let the car idle for a while,...

Dear, check water leakage from the heater's radiator. For this, disconnect water circulation to the car cabin heater.
There are two water carrying hoses for the heater, one is to carry water to the heater and the other one is to carry it back to engine. One end of these two hoses is connected to the engine side and the other end of these hoses is connected to the heater side.
You have to disconnect any first hose's end from the heater's side and second hose's end from the engine's side.

Now connect the hose end, which you had disconnected from the heater
