To get a new key for your car, you will need to have a lock cylinder removed and taken to a lock smith to have it decoded so a key can be made. The easiest cylinder to remove is the truck.

if key blade broke in barrell you need to tape the key head close to the ign switch so the immobiliser can get its signal ,,, a decent mechanic should be able to remove broken blade with hooks ,,,, andjust get a new or use your spare key
Possible damage within the key and so it is best to take a view from the service center if your duplicate key does not work. If so a new one must be ordered.
disconnect the battery and pull the air bag fuse out to diable the air bag. Remove the steering coulmb trim covers and expose the lock cylinder. If the lock cylinder can be turned and is functional then push in the bottom tab and turn the lock cylinder then pull the whole cylinder out. If the keys broke inside and the lock cylinder is not functional the bottom tab will need to be drilled out.
