Question about 1986 Chevrolet Corvette
Car wont start, hot battery turns over good but wont fire. when I pressed thr stem valve on top of intake water came out. Is this normal? Or do I have water in my gas system.
If it was water that came from the valve, and If you can identify the stem valve as a valve on the fuel injection rail or line, then yes , you have water in your gas, and no, it is not normal for water to come out of this valve. If the valve is , in fact, connected to the fuel injection system, it is likely the test valve where a pressure gage is hook up to test the pressure of the fuel going into the fuel injection.
Depending on just how much water is in the system, try several treatments of dry gas, or you just may have to have the fuel tank drained.
