Did you try swaping bulbs from left to right to see if you got a bad bulb? Did you check voltage at the plug where the bulb itself plugs in? Test lights don't really show you the whole picture. Invest in a Voltage meter.

One headlight will not work

Get a test light to see if your getting voltage to the socket, then check the wiring behind the socket, if not there its a separation of a wire feeding the other side or a ground loose. Hope this helps.

No power to right side (PS) headlight low beam plug socket, new bulb, fuse is good. High beam works, blinker works, park light works. just no low beam and doesn't register any voltage on volt meter.

check low beam fuse when switched on if it has voltage registering across the fuse ,if there is voltage across the low beam RHS fuse then it is possibly a pinched wire from the headlight running back towards inside of the car

How to change the right front turn pulb? 1998 ford taurus

unbolt the headlight (4 bolts on top, one of then is a tightening bolt, a long skinny bolt, try loosening that one, you can tell which one it is 'cuz there is no bracket on it.). Remove it then go in from the side you should be able to just reach the bulb socket, I think it twists out,you should be able to twist it with your fingers.

How do I change the head light bulb on a 1997 Buick Le Sabre?

open hood. remove the 2 bolts on top of the headlight assembly, pull headlight assembly from vehicle, turn headlight socket counter clockwise to remove socket. pull old bulb from socket.

Insert the new bulb. Be sure to wear disposable gloves when touching the new bulb oil from skin will cause bulb to burn out sooner. hold it by its base.

Test the headlight. Turn the headlights on to ensure proper installation.

  1. Push the socket back into the headlight assembly. Be sure to align the retaining tabs in the socket with the slots on the headlight assembly during insertion. Turn the socket clockwise to secure it.

  2. Push the headlight assembly back into place and reinstall the retaining bolts, using a wrench and socket.

Changing drivers side headlight bulb

these half turn plug into the back of the head light assemblies. you get access by opening the hood. don't touch the glass part of the new bulbs. make absolutely sure you are putting the right bulb in the right socket. there are two types of bulb which fit mechanically, but not electrically, into the same type of socket.

Driver side head light out not the bulb

Check all the fuses, most newer cars have fuses for each headlight. also check the socket that the bulb plugs into, these sockets go bad often, if you use a testlight and test for power at the socket, if you have power and ground to socket then socket is bad, theres only two things that i've found with a headlight not working on a newwer car and that would be a bad bulb or fuse or the last is the socket get brunt at the contact points in the socket. hope this helps. good luck.

Bypass head light switch and see what you get. Three items can cause your problem . The head light switch, flasher relay , shorts in circuit. I would go with switch.
