Where is the engine oil filter?

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...........................

That'll be a hard question!

Oil Filter is............... the one that filters all the dirt, grimes, fine metal, solid objects and anything that ALiENS to the lubrication of ur engine! Oil will pass thru that filter, filters everything, and then goes back to ur engine, that makes every METAL to move freely w/o DRAG!

Hope that slips out everything in ur probs!

I have a 1992 cavalier that starts fine but loses

Replace the fuel filter, air filter and check the catalytic converter for any restrictions. Adding fuel injector cleaner into the gas tank to clean out the fuel system is a good thing to. The other thing to that would bring the engine back to life is to add a bottle of Marval Mystery Oil to the engine with the oil, this will free up and clean the oil journals and the oil pick up screen in the oil pan. Take note to try to add the Marval Mystery Oil around 1,000 miles before your oil and filter change and keep an key on the oil level every second day, since the Marvel oil is much thinner and will evaporate. Good luck and this should bring the engine back to life.

Oil filter in civic 97

If you go to a reputable motor factor,
you can only be sold the correct filter for the civic.
As there are soo many variables in engine type, it's almost impossible to tell, oil volume, or which type filter.
However, I will say, be sure that you don't mix semi-synthetic oil, and mineral oil.
Oil changes should be undertaken every 30,000 miles, (unless under extra work load, (in which case, slightly more regularly))

Otherwise, 10/40 or 15/40 grade oil, is perfectly fine.
The trick to not overfilling the oil, is simply just to take your time, clean the dip stick and retry, until you have the correct reading.

Synthtic oil

yes synthetic oil can be used in just about any vehicle. Older vehicles with high miles it is reccomended to use high milliage oil but you should be fine with synthetic oil just make sure to use a high millage filter. reason is that traditional filters only last 3000 miles but synthetic oil lasts 5-6000 miles. A high millage filter will last tha same as the oil.

If you see oil in air filter means oil cotrol piston ring worn out. or broken.
engine oil passes gap between engine block and piston rings.
so you need engine ovaholing.
