Question about 1993 Isuzu Rodeo
I need to remove the starter in my 93 isuzu trooper (5spd, 3.2L)
Is there any step by step guide or can anyone give me a rundown of the process. I don't want to buy one of those repair manuals just for this because they are expencive.
I've located the starter and I can see two bolts that bolt it to the transmittion and two rods that hold it in place. Its on the driver's side of the engine behind the front left wheel area.
I just need a good rundown of whats involved and if its a job that's possible to do in my driveway with standard tools.
Yes you can do it....just remove the positive lead off of your battery first of all. Those bolts you see is what you have to remove. That should let the starter come down a little so you can take the wires off of the starter. Keep track of where they go so you can put them back on the new starter. When you are done putting the starter in place and tightened all the bolts you can hook the positive wire back to your battery.
