1997 TBird-AC fan stopped working

One minute it was working fine, the next time I started up to go to work. Nothing. No air/fan at all. No heater, no defroster fan. I checked the fuse for the ac and heater. Is there another I don't know about that might relate to the problem? Or could it be the fan blower motor. Is it expensive? I am a female who understands a lot about how my car works. Except this.

Are you sure it isn't in the switch itself? I believe the fan is under the hook on this car but I don't have my books here to know for sure. If you disconnect the plug to your heater motor and insert a test light inside of the plug that goes to the motor you could see if you have power there with the ignition switch on and heater blower fan switch on. The motor is about $30. to $50. but I definitely would test the motor before buying another one.

Could be a fuse or the ac control module. I would check the fuse first.

Make sure your fan clutch is working. No fan, no cooling of the condenser, no heat dissipation, no cold air. Start the truck and make sure you feel air movement, a lot.

a couple of things,1 blower motor fuse.2 blower motor gone out.3 switch on fan speed control switch not sending signal to fans.after checking the fuses.next check theswitch on control panel.set ac or heater.if fan still doesnt come on then replace it.when it work and then stops working there are a lot of possiblities that caused the prob relay too not fliping over inside staying close loop.hope this helps.
