Dear friend-your brake lights does not work threw the ignition,so you will have to look at the brake light switch,it might be stuck.

Sounds like a switch that want's to stay on. I'd pull the fuse for parking lights until I got it sorted out. If it's a rotory switch Wd-40 on the shaft may help. If rocker switch for just parking that may also help. Probably not for a push button switch.

Car parking lights don't come on sometimes.


I'd look real close at the contacts on rotary switch that's the combo turn signal/running lights/headlights switch. I had that with a car I used to have. The contacts got hot, and the plastic behind the contacts melted back, leaving the contacts unsupported.

shut the rocker switch off on top of the steering column this switch controls just the parking lights

Tail lights stay on


There is a switch that should shut these off when the front door is opened. Have the dealer fix under warranty.
