If the engine is ok (not seized), check the condition of the battery cables. If they are ok. Looks like you may need a starter. Have the starting system checked. Hope this helps. Please leave feedback.

Dead battery... Sometimes if the battery is very low then it must sit with the jumpers on for a few minutes to charge the battery. If everything worked fine after the engine started then the alternator is working ok. Check the battery terminals for corrosion and clean as necessary.

what happened when you tried jumping the car? sounds like it could be a bad ignition switch since only non-switched things work.

check for battery voltage at battery should be over 12 volts, try jump starting to ensure your starter is good, once started check for voltage at battery should be over 13.5 to ensure charge system is working if system is charging replace your battery

If the radio was on when you jump started car you may have overloaded display, and the radio as a whole may have suffered. You may need to replace the radio. Sorry can't be more help.

Car sat for 18 months, the battery died so i replaced it, after this the radio didn't work (maybe when i replaced it i shorted something out?) it ran for a while, but when it was driven at night the airbag...

All of these are signs of a dying battery, because it's not recharged by the alternator.
Test the alternator this way: jump the battery from a running car and start your engine; rev the engine to about 2500 rpm and disconnect the jumpers; test the voltage - on a working alternator it should read 14 to 14.5 volts; if it shows 12 volts or less then the alternator is totally dead.

My car started dying and now hasnt enough charge to start

sound like bad battery cables.replace them.the positive battery cable is old and have a lot of resistance not allowing power to the alternator to charge battery.if battery cable good check alternator connector wires.make sure they are not damage also check alternator fuse and fuse link.turn off radio before removing battery wires so you wont lose radio code.
