If you have the repair manual it should show you the way to do it, if not you will have to locate it on the trany. It should be on the side near the tail stock. If you aready bought one, match up the electrical plug to one on the trany.

What could be wrong with my 2001 f350 v10 climate controls that the fan only works on high and the blend only works in defrost no matter what is selected?

Almost sounds like your climate control switch is bad as it controls everything including the switching and blower speed with the exception of the blower speed being a blower resistor issue (allows multiple speeds).

Speed sensor replacement
In the newest cars they are located under the car on the driver's side...back behind the wheel...pretty easy to find...and easy to replace...just "unclip" them...and "clip" in the new ones....piece a cake.
See if you can get to the place indicated easy....Good luck

How can i trouble shoot my 2001 f350 ford 4x4 system

What specifically is it doing or not doing? The easy: If the 4x4 is not working, manually lock the hubs in. If it works then you have a vaccum problem with the lines going to the hubs or in the hubs themselves

Please remove battery connector for 10minutes to clear the error message. Take note afterwards.

You need to clear Check engine sign after correcting the errors.
