You either have a pulley that is locked up or something out of alignment.

SOURCE: keeps shredding the serpentine belt how can it be

ther are three main reasons the belt shreds, belt on too tight, pulleys out of alignment, pulley(s)have narower V than belts fitted,(wrong belts)
when fitted the longest part of the belt between pulleys should flex about 1/2 inch with your fingertips,(not a lot of pressure needed). The other two are easy to see.remember when you fit, to use a long handed screwdriver/crowbar to tension . long means more control......

2010 Nissan maxima 3.5. Power steering pump and serpentine belt.

It is all guesswork, but there is either an alignment issue due to the crash or the power steering RACK is damaged and causing stress on the pump and the belt.

My Advice, get a lawyer on it and take the dealer to court. The fact that it was a write off should have been disclosed at the time of the sale. Get your money back, or credit on another vehicle.

Search Fixya.. serpentine belt shredding

Sounds like one of the pulleys is not aligned with the rest. You can use a straight edge to check the alignment.
I would also want to make sure all of the pulleys are secure and not loose or bent.

Both Serpentine belts

The power steering pump will have a tensioner you need to loosen. Then for the other belt. There is a tensioner located on the pass side. You can see it if you look down the pass side of the engine.
