The easiest way is to rent an inner axle shaft removal tool. You should be able to from a local parts supplier.

Sounds like your shift cable has gotten out of sync, If this is the case, you take the shify cable loose from the link on transmission, then shift link to park position , then adjust cable to line up to the link and rehook. I don't know exactly how your set up looks but the procedure is the same on most cars.

SOURCE: knock on left front suspension over bumps and rough roads

Have the sway-bar end-links replaced. They will thunk and rattle over washboard or severe bumps, but will not when wheels are turned and sway-bar is loaded.Fairly cheap and easy repair, no alignment needed.

usually on the under side of the fuse box cover there is sticker with the layout of the different fuses. Look in the owners manual that's in the glove box, that should show the layout.

TRANSMISSOIN FLIUD ASTRA

some had dip stick to check and fill from which is in middle of engine and trans at front (where engine joins trans) black plastic lock over tang, engine dip stick is yellow. other model transmissions had a filler bolt hole which is in left side of gear box right next to where left drive shaft goes into gearbox even though its auto. some manual boxes had this same filler plug location and even on right side of box next to right drive shaft.

Steps to Replacing a Clutch on mitsubishi express

for the full steps then get a workshop manual as there are some details that will be missed . Basically it is Remove the battery terminal. remove the rear drive shaft ( front also if 4wd). Remove the gear lever at the tower bolts on the gear box. Drain the gear box or be prepaired for the gear oil to run out the end of the transmission when you pull the box. . Place a bottle jack under the sump at the rear of the engine . Place a trolley jack under the gear box. undo the rear transmission mount cross member Undo all the bell housing bolts. lower the jack and the trolley jack and pull the gear box back. Undo the bolts holding the pressure plate on the flywheel a bit each at a time as you go around the plate . Remove the plate and the clutch plate ( be aware that the clutch plate will only go back in one way so watch the way the clutch hub was facing. Remove and replace the bearing in the back of the crank shaft. clean up the flywheel face ( good idea for a good non shudder job is to have the flywheel re-machined ) fit the clutch plate the right way and fit the pressure plate . Use a clutch aligner tool as it will be impossible to fit the gear box with out it. Replace the clutch throw out bearing. Now re install using the reverse processes As I said a manual shows it all

When taking foot off the gas getting a clunk underneath at rear ,and some times when putting gas on same thing ,have had bushes replaced and tail shaft seems ok hope you can help thanks Des

Looks like you may have some lash in the drive line. But first check that you transmission fluid level is at the right level and do this with the engine running in 'park'. Now check the cruciform 'spider' couplings on the ends of drive shafts from the gear box to differentials and wheel hubs at the front. When the car is parked simply remove each front wheel in turn and twist the drive shaft rocking it back and forth and look for minor movement. Now rotate the main drive shafts from the gear box to spitter and from there to diffs. Often you will actually feel the problem before you see it or hear it. If you suspect something check all the others for comparison so that you are not fooling yourself. If its a worn cruciform bearing it might be best left to a local garage to swap as it can be a bit of a chore to do for yourself without the right tools.

When replacing a u-joint should the grease fitting face forward or back. I'm working on the drive shaft of a 1974 Ford Maverick.

The grease fitting should face the rear if replacing the trans. u-joint and forward if replacing the diff. u-joint.

Distributor cap and spark plug leads order/layout?

The firing order is 1342. The cylinders are numbered from left to right 1234. Depending on wether it is a 16 valve engine, the distributor cap lead number one position is at the front on the left, if its a normal 8 valve engine , the distributor cap lead number one is at the front pointing straight at the front. So, moving anti clockwise, the next lead will be number 3, then 4 , then 2.

Big noise when in 4x4 on corners

I'm betting you will be running into a problem I am dealing with shortly. I would advise you to check your front axles possibly the transfer case as well, luckily you can drive straight in the 4x4 mode, mine grinds as soon as i move the lever, it might not be the wheel bearings, however it could be the CV joints, and if that is the case you may want to look into swapping your axles out. I'm not a professional Jeep guy but mine has had almost every problem it can have, just some advice, hope it helps.
