HOW TO FIX P0017 ERROR ON 2007 HHR

Well the code means there is a problem with the cam sensor position for bank 2. The sensor is telling the engine computer the cam is in a different position that it should be.
You would need to check the signal from the sensor, and the actual cam to find the problem.

I have a Honda Accord 2004 with a code PO339, PO113 &PO344. can you assist in advice to solve these problems

p0339 is crank shaft position sensor related error. you need to be sure that its wiring is not damaged and it is not shorted somehow. if it is broken or getting broken, car may stall, or wont start att all.

p0113 is for intake air tempoerature sensor errors. that sensor measures air ehich enters the engine. it is least important. its effect may not be noticable when weather is not extremely cold.

p0334 is for knock sensor on engine. it prevent predetonation due to ignition conditions appear. it is felt when engine is under load like climbing, and engine speed is low. check for wires if it is ok replace sensor.

we can tell that temperature sensor is not directly effects other sensors.
but knock sensor and crank position sensor is to important for engine. if you have no starting issues, even cold or warm engine, invest on knock sensor first.

My 2000 Dodge Intrepid gave me the codes P0442, P0455, P0340. The first two have to do with the emission control system. The last one is the cam shaft position sensor. Can you tell me if they are expensive...

I replaced a camshaft position sensor on an Intrepid with the 2.7L V6 a few years back. Very straightforward job, sensor is on the front of the left cylinder head, and accessible. Sensor cost about $30 (a few years ago). I would suspect that the 3.5L V6 is about the same.

Code 171 and 174 on a 97 mercury grand marquis

I've owned one of these. you can try to clean the MAF with brake cleaner. but if that doesn't work you'll have to replace it. the car can't tell how muich air is entering the engine to properly meter the fuel. so what you get is a lean misfire. fix it soon. running the engine lean means it's running hot internal temperatures which can damage expensive things ie. catylitic converters.

DO U UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF "OUT OF PHASE"?? IT IS THE MECHANICAL TIMING OF THE SIGNAL FROM EACH SENSOR TO THE ENGINE CONTROL COMPUTER, WHAT IS THE CODE? ALSO TELL YOUR DAD (NICELY) THAT ATROUBLE CODE DOES NOT ALWAYS MEANS A FAILED SENSOR, ONLY A PROBLEM WITH THE SIGNAL, THAT CAN BE THE WIRING, IT CAN BE MECHANICAL OR IT CAN BE THE SENSOR, MANY POEPLE DON'T GET THAT AND SPEND TON'S OF MONEY CHASING CODES.I HAVE DONE THIS FOR 35 YEARS AND AM SURE OF WHAT I AM SAYING 100%

Error code 41 on 1994 honda accord

A 41 error is your throttle positioning sensor, its a electrical sensor hooked to your injectors telling them how much gas/air to be releasing as u accelerate/deccelerate. Best and only way to fix it is to buy a new sensor. Then reset the cars computer at a diagnostics shop for little or no cost.

Codes

RF2560 -  Remote Keyless Entry Validation fault - dealer fix RS0061 -  Right front position sensor fault - dealer fix IP1552 - KAM error (keep alive memory) power loss to instrument panel? - dealer fix IP2419 - instrument panel (unsure)
I would talk with a dealer re fixes to all these codes. Unless you're a great mechanic and understand advnanced principles of electronics, let the experts fix your expensive (or to fix at least) car.
Sorry not to have better news. Community colleges offer cheap classes in auto repair...
