code p 0038 refers to heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 2 bank 1 heated control --circuit low===causes --wiring short to positive --- HO2S--- ecm
code p 0136 refers to HO2S 2 bank 1 circuit malfunction===causes --heating inoperative --wiring-- HO2S
it also refers to HO2S --no signal===causes ---wiring --HO2S
bank 1 is the bank closest to the fire wall and heated oxygen sensors(HO2S) are always in the exhaust manifold/pipe before the cat converter
the wires in the HO2S are delicate so always use the correct sensor socket for removal and installation of the sensors
electric motors the motors are located at the heater box some have rods attached that fall off others direct connect you have to check all the fuctions to see if all are working also check fuses to see if all are ok possible the controller itself could be burnt
Actually, On 2006 vehicles the camshaft position sensor senses the TDC point of the number one cylinder, on its compression stroke. Its signal is relayed to the ECM to be used to determine the sequence of fuel injection. The Crank sensor is used to determine RPM ranges
The crankshaft position sensor consists of a magnet and coil. The voltage signal from the sensor is relayed to the ECM to indicate engine rpm and the position of the crankshaft. This sensor wouldn't affect your performance but, the Cam sensor will if its damaged.
To answer you question correctly, it would be the cam sensor i would check. it actually controls the injection system. if damaged, it will cause performance issues.
On 2006 vehicles the crankshaft position sensor is located next to the radiator hose inlet and outlet assembly.
On 2006 vehicles, the camshaft position sensor is located on top of the engine, on the engine head cover.
If your refering to the light on top of the dash that says "psgr air bag not connected" here;s the deal.
The module is activated when someone sits in the seat. Turn the key on and the notification will light. Go around to the psgr side of the car and sit in the seat and the light should go out.
