I have a 1997 Corolla, manual trans. Great little car...still runs great with 230,000....until a few days ago. Notcied I was pushing clutch pedal all the way down to the floor....and with hardly any...

Sounds like you have gotten alot of good miles out of this car, if it still has value to you, it is time to replace the clutch and all of the hydraulics. If a problem is coming from one part of the system, the rest are probably too worn to keep.

P.S. I drive a 1995 Ford with 260,000+ miles, repairs are cheaper than car payments! Buy a good repair manual and invite some friends over, even if you have to feed them!

Spark plugs last 50,000 miles, two to four years.
The oil has nothing to do with a drivability issue.

Disconnect the vacuum hoses to the EGR Valve and plug them. You will get a MIL Light or wrench on dash, ignore it and see if the problem goes away. If it does, replace the EGR Valve.

I was told the fluid was dirty on both. I had the transmission flushed and changed in late 2008 and the coolant changed in 2009. Is this okay for them to tell me it's already dirty?

dirty???trans fluid should be changed if car has overheated and fluid is brown and smells and is burnt-or -mileage of 50,000 [to 100,000 miles some manufactures] average change and filter is about every 60,000 ----as to coolant average life is 5 years unless problem such as overheating or somehow got contaminated so if u didnt put on 50,000 miles in little over a year and have not had any type of over heat problem dont see why to have unnecessary service done to vehicle ------if u look in u owners manual it advises at what intervals [mileage/time] to do service on ur vehicle

Is there any thing othert than chainging tranmission fluid reguarly to help transmission life on 1997 chysler concorde

if you never changed the trans fluid yet, don't
the shavings that are worn mixed with the trans fluid must be retained in your trans to keep the trans shifting smoothly
I have seen plenty of people changing there trans fluid for the first time with 50,000 miles then the trans will slip

if the trans, fluid is a brighter red ,[like a red cream soda] it is not burnt.
it is fine[in my eyes].
if the fluid is dark [dirty] i would change it, and filter in trans.

i have a 1999 gmc suberban, trans. fluid is red like cream soda runs great with 350 thousand klicks on it and never changed.

some vehicles[ trans in front might be different]but i still say if fluid is like red cream soda in colour [brighter red in colour]it is fine

My 95 vw cabrio shuts down both at 65 mph or just sitting in park

To keep it simple first, try replacing the fuel filter. They have a average life of around 30,000 to 40,000 miles or one year. you can pick one up at Auto Zone and they can give you the step by step instructions to get the job done with common tools and you can also have the car scanned there for any DTC codes and it's free of charge. Keep me posted, be glad to help you getting your car running 100% again.

Bad transmission at 50,000 miles

doesnt supprise me that is one of dodge weak points,
do you have your warranty in writing and are you within the limits?
a 2003 would be out of factory warranty and dodge has nothing to do with it. it would be the dealer that gave you the warranty.
good luck
let us know how you do
later paul
