Question about 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe

Open Question

I have the same problenm as "soundfx4u"

-The battery light stays on even after the key is off and removed on my 2003 Tahoe. I noticed that the battery will be dead after several hours if this light is on.
-I have simply turned the key on and on a few times but the light will stay on(thought it might be in the ignition key itself. Used my spare key as well).
-Voltage reading on the battery is 12.2 volts when I first turned it off (with the light on)
-If I remove the cable from the battery there seems to be quite a big spark as if something is on but nothing is on (lights, power plugs, etc)
-I have gone for a drive around the block and then shut it off again and it the light went out and everything seems to be fine( battery doesn't go dead.
-Because its some what of an intermttent problem and no dtc codes it could be really expensive to take it to a shop. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
-I'm going to put in a brand new battery just in case. (I have already change batterys from my other working vehicles)
- If I solve the problem I will let "soundfx4u" know

Battery keeps draining

One of the most common things is that your interior lights are staying on, check and clean the door switches and make sure they are springing back into position easily with your finger. Also check your rear door latch for the same. Another thing is, if you have lighted vanity mirrors in your visors, those switches can become gummed up as well. One last thing to check is your interior light switches, ie. dome lights, overhead lights etc.

Starter just clicking

It clicks repeatedly while holding the key in Start, or just clicks once?
Sounds like the solenoid for the starter is kicking in, hence the click noise, but the starter itself is either stuck or dead.

I replaced a new battery on my 2003 chevy tahoe, after I noticed it was completely drained. Now I am unable to start my vehicle. The dashboard is reading "driver unkown". How can I resyc back to...

Turn ignition key to run position so that red & yellow idiot lights stay on. Leave in this position for 10 minutes. At first you should see theft light flashing then it will go to on. Then turn key to off. Then start vehicle.

Airbag light stay on 2003 chevy tahoe

The air bag light will remain illuminated if a fault has been detected in the air bag system.
The onboard computer will need to be interfaced with diagnostic equipment to read the fault.
This is also the only way to reset the light.
Good luck, I hope this helped.

My 07 Tahoe reverse lights stays on even after I turn it off

I'm afraid the dealership is probably right. You might get lucky and after you remove it check for bad solder joints, but I agree with the dealer's findings on this one. Unfortunately, that fuse block is a non-serviceable item so the fuse block will need to be replaced.
Hope this helps
