There is a wire with two flat prongs disconnected between the front and back seat. What is this to?

Probably either the air bag sensor or heated seats power supply. New cars won't activate the airbags unless someone is sitting in the seat and closes the switch.

call suzuki dealer. there are vast quantaties of partnumbers
and can be revised at any time. or can vary by country and year made, even mid year changes to parts. based on VIN numbers.
call them and get accurate answer.

Yes, your Nissan Pathfinder has a heater pump. The heater pump circulates the hot coolant from your engine to your heater core(s). You have two heater cores if you have rear temperature controls. My guess is that your problem was that you had very little heat or no heat at idle. Attached is the page from the service manual on how to replace it.

Replace your temperature sensor. There is a sensor specifically for the cooling fans that triggers the relays, and tells the fans to turn on/off. The relays won't energize unless it gets a signal from that sensor.

Check the gasket at the manifold/engine and manifold/exhaust (likely in your case) or broken exhaust with small hole in engine bay.
