The remotes work directly with the convinence control unit, which is located under the carpet on the front passanger side foot well, check to see if it is damp under there as the pollen filters are prone to leaking into that area, hope this helps

Jaguar Problem cranks, stops cranking and alarm sounds

sounds like the anti theft chip is causing the problem,I belive the battery in your key or the remote sensor is the problem.my bosses battery was located in the key its self, had the same problem until the battery was replaced.
uses the same battery that a watch uses, the dealer or a jewelery repair shop is your best bet,Good luck,Gary

Remote wont work

check the battery in the remote first. if it has a light on it make sure it blinks when you press the button. turn disable the alarm you should be able to turn the key in the drivers door cylinder counter clockwise then clockwise. if none of this works you probably have a bad drivers side door latch.
