Help! 94 toyota tercel control arm pivot bolt is stuck, spins...

94 toyota tercel control arm pivot bolt is stuck, just spins when I turn it, I think I stripped it out or it has fused to the nut it feeds into due to heavy rust damage (the control arm snapped from rust damage). Do I need to go in through the passenger side floor to get to the back of the bolt? I'm wondering if I can just dremel through what's left of my control arm and through the bolt in the middle then yank it out...please help! At this point I'm determined not to take this to a shop, I only paid 400 dollars for it and it will be worth much more to me if I can make this repair myself. I'm considering also using heat and a hammer to whack it, but I am afraid I've already torn the receiving end out of place and will need to brace it by holding onto it through the frame (there is no easy way to get to the back, I have two quarter sized holes that barely let my 17mm socket through on a breaker bar, but I can't see what I'm doing and have to just hope I get it all the way on there snug.. is the 17mm bolt end the same size as the nut it would feed into?
also, the receving nut doesn't need to be welded into place, does it? My haynes has been of little to no help with regards to what happens if the bolt doesn't loosten.

I'm trying to change the belts for my 92 tercel but some how cant find the tension pulley. Can anyone please help me. I need to change both belts.

It appears that your car is equipped with multiple v-belts, rather than a serpentine belt so there most likely aren't tensioner pullies. Here is some general info that may help.

Alternator To adjust the tension of the alternator drive belt on older models, loosen the pivot and mounting bolts on the alternator. Using a wooden hammer handle, or a broomstick as a prying device, move the alternator one way or the other until the proper tension is achieved. Do not use a screwdriver or any other metal device such as a pry bar, as a lever. Newer models use a tension adjusting bolt. Loosen the pivot bolt and the locking bolt, then turn the tension adjusting bolt until proper tension is achieved. Tighten the bolts securely, run the engine about minute, stop the engine then recheck the belt tension. Air Conditioning Compressor A/C compressor (always use caution when working near the A/C compressor to avoid damaging the refrigerant lines) belt tension can be adjusted by turning the tension adjusting bolt which is located on the compressor tensioner bracket. Turn the bolt clockwise to tighten the belt and counterclockwise to loosen it. Air Pump To adjust the tension of the air pump drive belt, loosen the adjusting lever bolt and the pivot bolt. Move the pump in or out until the desired tension is reached. NOTE: The tension should be checked between the air pump and the crankshaft pulley on cars without air conditioning. On cars with A/C the tension should be checked between the compressor and the crankshaft pulley. Power Steering Pump Tension on the power steering belt is adjusted by means of an idler pulley (some models may use just a lower adjusting bracket setup, similar to the alternator adjustment service procedure). Loosen the lock bolt and turn the adjusting bolt on the idler pulley until the desired tension is felt, then tighten the lock bolt.

Fans dont work and overheats 94 toyota tercel

Most systems work pretty much the same. First check the fans themselves by hot wiring them to the battery. If they work, you need to check the engine temp sensor (some vehicles use one for gauge and fans, others use a separate one for fans) relay, and of course any fuses.
You will help yourself a lot by getting either a chilton or haynes manual to show you how to do testing.

Hi, 2003 sienna makes noise in reverse while the steering is turned to the right !! any help

Most of the time it is a dirty CV joint where the boot has torn and the CV has been contaminated with dirt. Check your CV Boots for holes and the joints for undue wear.

Also... on some vehicles there is a stop bolt on the Strut pivot that contacts the control arm and can make a substantial bang if the control arm moves up or down while the bolt is agains the control arm. All you have to do is apply grease the stop bolt head and the strike plate area.

Replace blower motor 94 Toyota Tercel

Its really easy to access the motor although I haven't had to change mine yet. Start with removing the glove box. There's two hidden 10mm bolts under an oval trim cover inside your glove box. Two more bolts underneath the box and one philips screw above the latch. Your motor should be right there and easy to replace. If you have more questions I can give you more info. Hope this helps. Also are you absolutly sure the motor is bad. Are the fuses good and the wiring?

Toyota Tercel E3?

'91-'94 Tercels have the Single overhead cam 3EE Motor.
'95-'99 Tercels have the dual overhead cam 5E-FE Motor. A much improved engine in my humble opinion.
