are u sure it,s spark and not the fuel pump relay?...when u have no spark..it never starts period ....

No, the main relay isn't the problem. Most likely, the high temp made it a bit more difficult to start, then it sounds like it may have 'flooded' (too much fuel, since it had trouble starting right away). Letting it sit for awhile will solve a fuel flooding problem. Make sure the coolant level is where it should be, and car is not due for a tune up. Extreme heat or cold is tough on an engine, and a few small problems can prevent the car from starting in those conditions. How long has it been since plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, rotor, fuel and air filters have been replaced? Just make sure you keep up on the maintenance, and remember. the accord is getting on in years. How many miles? Good luck with the Honda, it's a great car (I have a 91 Prelude and a 92 Accord).

Ussually with the Preludes the main relay for the fuel pump needs to be replaced. One that i havent seen posted yet is the 'Coolant tempature switch' near the distributor some times becomes faulty. Cheap at local auto parts dealer.
