Kia Sportage eco 2011 orange light car with z lines stayed on not blinking went into limp mode then after awhile went off and then drove normal is that normal

You need to scan for engine trouble codes. Most parts stores will do this for free, and tell you what they mean and make recommendations on what to do. The 'limp mode' kicks in to prevent damage to the vehicle when the computer gets data that something is wrong.. When you shut it off, it's temporarily reset, but then the cars computer is signaling there is still a problem, and it goes back into limp mode. the car has the capablilites to give data and codes. You gunna need a professional if you dont have access to a scanner and multimeter. Otherwise were just guessing.
I hate telling people that its out of their hands but sometimes its best to let the pro diag it and then you can repair it if you capable

possibly one of your electronic solenoids in the trans has died

What is limp mode, and it is MiL light( mal function indicator light)it is not EML. Please specify so i can help

That is the low tire pressure light. Check the tire pressure.
