Awd disable light comes on as soon as I hit a bump on my 2002 Buick Rendavous

I had the same problem in my 02 Rendezvous. I took it to the dealer and the cleaned the sensors on the two front wheels. They told me that if you get a flat or new tires, the sensors can get dirty or damaged and most people are not aware that they are there. The dealer also told me that only the 02's have this issue.

AWD Light stays on

3rd dealer stated that the problem was in the differential pump valve, when the temperture sensor was giving a false reading and disconnecting the rear wheel drive. Replaced with GM Part 88896067, and it solved the problem. Mechanic stated that if it is ONLY the AWD light, then this is usually the problem. If the ABS Disable light also goes on, then it is the harness on the wheel sensor.

Disable ABS without Beeping in Cabin.

If you don't care about the light being on, just unplug a speed sensor. Why do you want to disable it anyway?

Buick rendevousz headaches

I own the 2002 Buick Rendezvous CX and I've encountered the same problems listed here. The ABS / Traction Control Lamp stays on and was throwing a code for the left wheel speed sensor as well as an anti-lock brake code (both in the wheel bearing hub assembly). I replaced the left and right front wheel hub assembly yet this did not eliminate the abs codes.
Ultimately, I traced this problem to a break in the wire that leads to the left hub assembly. Although the sensor was properly connected, the wire (which is encased in a plastic housing) was broken. This is the wiring which leads from the abs wiring harness under the hood down to the left wheel abs sensor.
I would suggest that you simply remove the left wheel and inspect the wire that leads to the abs sensor (there is only one wire on each wheel). Mine literally fell apart when I removed the plastic housing around the wire. I spliced the wire together and put it back in the plastic housing. After this, my abs codes disappeared and my anti-lock brakes began working again!
This is a simple fix that many people spend $1000 + on by replacing the hub assembly which does not fix the problem.

2004 Buick Rendezvous AWD Light Stays On

Our 2002 did the same thing. Easy cheap fix! Pull the wheel off and check the wiring that goes to the wheel sensor. You will find after removing a few inches of wrap, a broken wire or two. This could be on either wheel, so check both. Fix the wires back up and you are good to go. Hope this helps!

All wheel drive fault light stays on the dic

Try undoing the negative battery cable, count to 25 and hook it back up, this should reset the brain in your computer system for your vehicle.
