2) The brake fluid is low.
3) The switch under the dashboard that contacts the top of the brake pedal arm is broken or has come loose.
4) One of your brake light on the rear of the car is not working.

a small rubber vacuum pipe connecting to the injector system / inlet manifold. Sometimes this pipe perishes and allows air to enter thus decreasing the vacuum. The engine then cuts out. It's simple to check and replace the tubing where necessary. You may also notice the engine cutting out when traveling at speed and one suddenly slows down.

IT SOUNDS LIKE THE TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT. YOUR TIRES LOOSE AIR PRESSURE WHEN THE WEATHER GOES FROM HOT TO COLD. TRY ADDING SOME AIR TO THE TIRES. THE LIGHT SHOULD GO OUT. ALSO, LOOK IN THE OWNERS MANUAL, IT SHOULD GIVE AN EXPLANATION OF WARNING LIGHTS.

SOURCE: Brake/electrical problem

brake lights not operating may be the brake light switch located screwed into the pedals box just below where pedals pivot it has 2 wire plug attached unplug this plug then using either a short wire or a matal paper clip opened to form U shape connect the 2 wiresin plug this should put b/lights on with ignition on ?provided all bulbs are ok ?? if it works then ? check the switch it has a plunger on it and when pedal pressed it moves out to put lights on however being plastic ? the plunger may be stuck use wd40 or similar and lubericate and work piston so it pushes in and springs out freely ? then refit wiresplug and recheck lights work ok ? also check on brake fluid level in reservoir top up and ensure no leaks when brakes applied ?

2000 Dodge Durango, Canadian specs, P with a circle around it and exclamation point with a circle around it, lights come on simultaneously.

Usually the P with a circle is for the parking brake. Its possible the sensor for the parking brake is faulty and telling the computer the parking brake is on when it is not.

This is the symbol for worn brake pads. The warning light means it is time for you to have the brake pads replaced. Do not ignore this warning or you will ruin the rotors.

Yellow brake light on mini cooper is on

I would follow the instructions in the owner's manual for this warning light. Sounds like (but don't know) low brake fluid pressure -- which could lead to a brake failure. That's why there is an exclamation point, I guess.

Not a bad idea to stick with the dealer.
