My vsc light and trac off lights both came on my Toyota Avalon - 2003. Just had my front brakes changed. We did the brakes our selves. The lights came on the next day

The Trac light comes on automatically, in conjuction with the Check Engine Light. You need your vehicle scanned for DTC codes.

Disconnect your battery for 10 minutes after which you connect it back the lights should go off. Don't report to toyota. Nigerian style!

Okay you need to lift your trunk remove any carpeting remove hidden screws to undo light fixture be careful not to drop the case once case is in your hand remove the appropriate bulb that needs replacing after wards reinstall light housing/casing and screws good luck with this. I just had the same issue. Cost me $40.00 to find out my gas cap wasnt clicked all the way. He also said that after the error arises, simply closing the gas until it clicked may not have removed the error code from the computer. Not sure how, but you might have to reset the computer, maybe just pull the battery?

I did research on line and all indicates that is caused by the YAW RATE SENSOR. It nedds to be replace and adjust. I have the same problem but havent find the time to get to it. When I do I will post it. If you do it before I do please email me with the result at [email protected]
