On the brake pad there is a metal tab that scrapes the rotor to let you know that the brake pads are worn out and you need to replace them ,now if you check the brakes and find they are OK check for a small rock stuck between backing plate and rotor I've seen this several times ,this involves removing caliper and rotor (if noise is cause by a rock you will see it fall as you remove the rotor ) do not bend the backing plate to try and remove the rock this rarely dislodges the rock and causes backing plate to rub against rotor causing yet another noise
Either bad ball bearing, brake pade, or sheld behind brake pads rubbing againt brake disk

Wheel HUB bearing... find out which one (possibly both).

It sounds like the CV joints are due to be replaced. Make sure you get them replaced and do not drive it too far, because the CV joints will fail anytime now. Once the CV joints fail, your going to have to get the car towed to get it fixed. Good luck and keep me posted, Oh and don't buy the car from there, who knows what else is wrong with the car that they are hiding from you.

Stay away, those need to be pressed into place with a hydraulic press, it is best to leave that to a qualified repair shop

Thats bad, if it really is the trans. When wheels are up in the air, put the car in gear, and grab the coil spring. If a wheel bearing is bad, you will feel the vibrations through the spring. If you compare right and left, you will be able to tell which wheel bearing is bad.

Wheel bearing is bad and will need to be replaced. This is a somewhat easy job if you are comfortable with mechanics, but you will need to remove a lot of parts to get at the bearing. You can get a new bearing at your local auto parts store. Please rate
