Question about 2002 Volkswagen Golf
I disconnected the battery and pressed on the brake pedal and pushed on the horn to drain all the stored power from the capacitor, then I pulled each fuse one by one checking each of them, and then I used a relay tester to check all of the relays, then after about a half an hour I reconnected the battery. Now my car is in learn mode and will adapt to my driving style, and it runs like new

Try This It worked for me. -
Disconnect the Negative Battery Lead only, leave off for several minutes then reconnect. Fault Codes Now Cleared.
Just done this to my golf and Fault codes cleared ok for me.
