I ended up changing my battery, and it's been 2 days now and the check engine light hasn't been back on. Thank you very much for the help!

Ok, the 1435 and 1421 are concerning the air injection pump. it is experiencing all kinds of difficulties and, it should be replaced asap, if possible. The 1823 code represents an issue that concerns the Pressure control solenoid number three. its an communication issue, usually traced back to a faulty ECU. have the ECU harness and pressure solenoid number three inspected. The 1850 is also a communication error code that is concerning the signal that is being received from the ECU as well. Check the ECU harness for faults. if the harness is in good condition, replace the ECU. It seems to be malfunctioning. Check the canister bus connections as well.

Ok, this 1624 is a totally different code here. It concerns the TCM(transmission control module). have this TCM tested at your local mechanic shop. special tools are need to preform this test.

***NOTE-((It has been know that if you simply change your battery, if your current battery is old, to a newer battery, this will solve most of these codes. A weak battery will induce false sensor actions, in return, sending codes through the CPU. i would advise to switch out the old battery if it is indeed old. Also, The pressure control solenoid are part of the trans valve body. if the ECU and harness is ok, replace the control solenoids asap.)))

Please provide the fault code. It will need to be in standard format for OBD2 systems, not VW codes. The codes are in this format PXXXX, the X being numbers.

The code on my car vw new jetta 2005 its a 2.5 the codes is reading on my car p0322 and code p3081 the reading was took when my epc light came on and my engine light on and i have a oil link i smell r

code p3081 refers to engine temperature too low===causes--allow engine to warm up---cooling system fault
I would check for a thermostat stuck open

code p0322 refers to crank shaft position (CKP) sensor/engine speed (RPM) sensor--no signal===causes--wiring---CKP/RPM sensor---ECM

2002 vw jetta, gas smell & shaking after 60mph

Well if the check engine light is on then there is something wrong, now you need the engine control module scanned for fault codes to begin to understand the problem that turned the light on, you need an OBD2 code reader (about $35.00) as a minimum to read the codes.

My 2001 vw jetta wont pass smog, failed on emissions part..check engine light is on for multiple things do I need to fix all to get car to pass smog? Fuel injectors and O2 sensor.

ALWAYS PERFORM TESTS AND REPAIRS ON THE FIRST DTC AND RETEST AFTER EACH STEP.ONE SENSOR OR COMPONENT FAILURE CAN CAUSE OTHERS TO FAIL AS A RESULT.MEANING THE FIRST CODE COULD HAVE CAUSED THE OTHER CODES TO CYCLE.SO ALWAYS DIAG THE FIRST CODE STORED AND EACH ONE AFTER AS THEY WERE READ DURING THE SCAN

Replace the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor. ECT sensor is placed in the right back side of the cylinder head on 2002 VW Jetta 1.9 TDI. See picture below:
