SOURCE: how to replace front wheel

I can tell you on a 93 Altima that you have remove the entire wheel knuckle and press it out from the rear. Yeah, the knuckle, remove the strut tower bolts, drive train ( which can be lighty pressed out ), caliper and bracket, and remove the ball joint. There's a snap ring at the back of the wheel knuckle that holds the bearing, then press it out with a socket and a table vice or something to that effect. By the way the going commercial rate if you take it to a shop and have them do it starts at $150 for labor. Worth it, oh yeah.

SOURCE: 1991 nissan stanza starter problems

Hi Jim.

When you turn the key, you should at least hear the starter solenoid click. When you turn the key the ignition switch sends 12 volts to the Starter solenoid ( really just a relay). The Solenoid closes and applies 12 volts (at a high current) to the starter motor to crank the engine. If you have a way to measure voltage, you should get 12 volts at the small terminal on the starter solenoid. The solenoid is mounted on the top of the starter motor. If you get 12 volts but no cranking, the solenoid is not working. If you get 12 volts and the starter doesn't crank the starter is defective. At this [point take a small hammer and tap the starter motor, not hard, just medium. Sometimes this will cause the starter motor to catch next time you turn the key. Best bet is to remove the starter motor (with solenoid attached) and take it to an Auto Zone type store where they can check it out for you. Be dure you disconnect the ground terminal of the battery before you attempt to remove the starter motor.

Hope this helps Good luck loringh PS Please leave a rating for me if appropriate Thks

SOURCE: WHICH BUTTON TO APPLY IN NISSAN STANZA 1991, POWER

Acutally there is 3 position settings for the transmission selector, the power setting which changes the shift points higher ,more rpm's, center position basic auto selection the transmission selects the best driving gears based on your habits, and the comfort mode which shifts the transmission easily and smoothly, no high rev shifts, best for good fuel mileage, but if you need to get on it it will go.

My 91 nissan stanza will start fine cold but aftr I drive for 20 miniutes it cranks but wont start up and if i leave it for about 30 miniutes it will start up

That sounds like an ignition coil problem. If that model uses an ignition coil (not electronic ignition), it probably needs to be replaced.

Why do I have to pump the gas pedal to get my 1991 Nissan stanza to start

You probably have a carburetor that feeds fuel to the engine rater than Fuel Injection. Fuel Injection squirts a bit of fuel into the ignition chamber when you turn your key, allowing the car to start, with a carburetor, you have to manually pump the fuel into the ignition chamber to start the engine. Usually Two to Three times should be enough.

My nissan 1991 stanza was leakin watter i think from a hose then smoked and wont start now

Smoke under the passenger side can be due to clutch wearing but since the car refused to start it seems that there is a fault in the fuel line. you need to check the fuel flow if there is fuel in the tank, check the ignition system for voltage before we can go further. Also you mentioned leak but not described the content.
Please check this out and clarify.

How do you calibrate the spark plugs for a 91 nissan stanza

Nissan recommends only NGK ZFR5E-11 spark plugs for your 1991 Stanza and they already come pre-gapped in the box. They might cost a little more than bargain brand spark plugs, but your stanza will definitely run much better with OEM plugs.

In tank fuel pump

First disconnect the positive battery cable! I released the pressure by pulling off the top gas line at the fuel filter under the hood. (carefull of getting fuel in your face). The fuel pump is under the backseat.

My nissan stanza wont start

Then it is either dirty or loose battery cables, or the fusible link in your positve cable, or the ground cable is not grounding.
