Question about Mitsubishi Passenger
Have one Mitsubishi Dion 2001 2.o ltr GDI model it was having the problem of computer box i changed computer box and car also started but engine is misfiring and there is no power there 2 error code one p0190 fuel rail pressure sensor and second is p1221 fuelpump secondary circuit low
2 things, what was the reason you changed the ECU, was it for the same issue? Also did you buy the ECU new or used, and if used did you make sure it was for the exact same Make/Model/Year? If it wasn't you need to verify the compatibility. If it was you need to make sure it was reflashed with the latest softrware (no matter new or used). If the reflashing doesn't fix the problem you probably have problems not related to the ECU. Also when a new ECU is put in it will take some driving to have the new ECU relearn the proper timing/trans shifting/air fuel ratio but should not back fire. Try unplugging the battery for overnight and see what it does the next morning, if the same issue have the ECU reflashed with the latest software first. Should be about $80-150
