The first thing to check is to see if there is power at the switch, while the key is on.

My rear defrost doesn't work. the fuse is fine. please advise?

it could be a break in the element of the defroster or it could be a wiring problem, you need to make sure that you are getting power the the defroster element before you can know where to start loking for the problem, if the element has a break in it you may be able to get a repair kit to repair it ......hope this helps......cheers.

Where do I start looking to see why my rear defroster is not working on my 2002 Chev Cavalier

First check fuse and relays. If none are bad, check wire connections on back window. Then take a good look at the lines in the window, are any cracked or missing sections? If so, they make a repair kit for this issue. Hope this helps.

I have a 2001 cavalier and the rear brakes keep locking up. we've replaced the master cylinder, proportioning valve, pads, rotors, hardware, shoes, drums, and right front hub bearing. got any ideas on...

Was this problem there before you changed the Brake shoes. The cavalier has shoes on the rear.
It seems like the leaning show the SHORT one is not facing the front of the car where it should be. If you check the shoes one is shorter than the other in a set. Hope this works. Some model year Cavalier also had a problem with the Backing plate the plate the shoes attaches to.
